During your Scripture Reading Time, try doing a lectio Divina (Prayerful reading, conversational with the Holy Spirit) about the following Scripture passages that have to do with Confession and the Eucharist.  Do one a day

Road to Emmaus: Luke 24: 13-35

Confession
John 20:19-23
James 5: 13-18

Watch this Video on How to Make a Good Confession then spend 15-20 minutes conversing with the Holy Spirit.  Ask Him to show you areas of your life that need changing.  Repent, apologize, receive his forgiveness in prayer and create a list and make a resolution--date/time and place to go to confession this Lent.  If you become aware of mortal sin on your list, take the opportunity to show swift obedience/desire to change and go to Confession before Mass on Sunday so that you can receive the Eucharist.
